What's new

The Spring 2026 release of FlightyFlow focuses on three things: smarter predictions, sharper widgets, and a faster Apple Watch experience.

Smarter delay predictions

Our delay-risk model has been retrained on a larger 2024–2026 dataset, with improvements for:

  • Hub-specific patterns at ATL, ORD, EWR, SFO, JFK, LAX.
  • Weather-driven ground delay programs.
  • Inbound aircraft chains — the model now traces back two legs.

In testing, predictions fired 14% earlier on average vs the previous version.

Redesigned Lock Screen widgets

  • New compact widget showing departure and ETA in a single line.
  • Inline widget for the ambient Lock Screen.
  • Better support for always-on display on iPhone 14 Pro and later.

Apple Watch improvements

  • New complication for the modular face.
  • Faster launch.
  • Live Activity mirroring on Apple Watch Ultra.

Other improvements

  • Full Spanish, German, French, Portuguese localization refresh.
  • Better handling of long codeshare flight numbers.
  • Bug fixes for time zone display on flights crossing the date line.
