What's new
LGA's $8B rebuild is essentially complete. Terminal B (Delta partner space) and Terminal C (Delta) are both modern, with extended pier connectors.
Terminals
- Terminal A (Marine Air Terminal, historic) — limited operations.
- Terminal B — multiple legacy carriers + American.
- Terminal C — Delta's hub at LGA.
Getting there
- LaGuardia Link Q70 bus + 7 train — best public transit option.
- Lyft/Uber — 30 min off-peak; 60+ in peak.
- NYC Ferry runs to nearby Astoria with onward shuttle.
Security
- TSA PreCheck and Clear at both B and C.
- Allow 75 minutes in busy windows.
Layover and dining
- Terminal C has the best dining lineup post-renovation.
- Delta Sky Club at C is the standout lounge.
- Centurion Lounge at B is excellent for AmEx Platinum holders.
Tracking LGA flights
LGA shares airspace with EWR and JFK. FlightyFlow shows the same NYC flow constraints affecting all three.
Frequently asked
Is LaGuardia still bad?+
The terminals are world-class after the rebuild. Airspace congestion remains; OTP is the lowest of the three NYC airports.
