The fastest path

Mom texts: "AA 100 from JFK at 6:30 PM". Here's the fastest way to make that actionable on iPhone in 2026.

Step-by-step

  1. iOS 18+ auto-detects flight numbers like AA 100. Long-press → "Track flight."
  2. iOS opens a flight summary card. Tap Share → FlightyFlow to pin it to your trip board.
  3. FlightyFlow starts a Live Activity, fires predictive delay alerts, and lets you share a live link back to Mom.

If iOS didn't detect the flight number, copy "AA 100" → open FlightyFlow → paste → it parses.

Why this matters

A pinned flight in FlightyFlow gives you live ETA on your Lock Screen, gate updates, and a one-tap "share live link" back to family. Far better than refreshing the airline app every 10 minutes.
