Getting there
- DB long-distance trains from FRA's own station to most German cities.
- S-Bahn S8/S9 to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.
- Lyft/Uber/taxi — ~20 min to city center off-peak.
Lounges
- Lufthansa Senator/First Class areas in A and Z.
- The First Class Terminal (separate from main terminal) is iconic.
OTP and weather
- Capacity-limited shorthaul banks drive most delays.
- Winter snow creates deicing queues.
Tracking FRA
FlightyFlow shows Eurocontrol DCB measures and active CTOTs (Calculated Take-Off Times) for FRA-bound flights. CTOTs frequently appear an hour before the airline updates anything.
