Layout

  • Terminal 1 — Lufthansa and most Star Alliance carriers; concourses A, B, Z (Schengen), C.
  • Terminal 2 — oneworld carriers and some others; concourses D and E.

The Sky Line people mover connects T1 and T2.

Getting there

  • DB long-distance trains from FRA's own station to most German cities.
  • S-Bahn S8/S9 to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.
  • Lyft/Uber/taxi — ~20 min to city center off-peak.

Lounges

  • Lufthansa Senator/First Class areas in A and Z.
  • The First Class Terminal (separate from main terminal) is iconic.

OTP and weather

  • Capacity-limited shorthaul banks drive most delays.
  • Winter snow creates deicing queues.

Tracking FRA

FlightyFlow shows Eurocontrol DCB measures and active CTOTs (Calculated Take-Off Times) for FRA-bound flights. CTOTs frequently appear an hour before the airline updates anything.
